For the Paramount Pictures Paris office (Levallois-Perret) we are currently recruiting for a 6-month internship: 

 

Publicity Intern

 

Is this the role for you?
Role Objectives:

Join the Publicity team and play a key role in supporting daily operations across the department. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in film marketing, work alongside experienced professionals, and develop valuable industry knowledge.

 

What will you be doing?
Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Participating in monitoring the press relations strategy for film releases

  • Drafting, preparing and sending out press releases

  • Monitoring online and offline articles – Editorial feedback

  • Helping to update new press contacts and influencers

  • Contribution to PowerPoint presentations

  • Organization and logistical follow-up of contests with media and influencers

  • Participating to special operations

  • Helping to organize previews and influencer events

  • Post-event reporting

  • Sending press material to journalists

  • One-off assignments: creating activity reports, helping to follow up journalists, hosting press screenings/previews, briefing the creative agencies on visuals. 

 

What are we looking for?

  • 4/5 years of higher education at a university or business school

  • Strong knowledge of and interest in the film industry

  • Native-level French and fluency in English are essential

  • Creativity and curiosity about brands and marketing

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Dynamic, detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work autonomously

  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Proficiency in Mailchimp would be a plus

  • Previous experience or internships with a film distributor or press office would be an advantage
