For our Consumer Product team in the Paris office (Neuilly-sur-Seine) we are currently recruiting for a full-time:

 

Senior Licensing Category Manager – France

 

Is this the role for you?

The Senior Licensing Category Manager will report to the Senior Consumer Products Director France.

In this role, you will contribute to the achievement of company objectives by implementing strategic plans for Paramount brands in the French market, in alignment with agreed guidelines and priorities.

 

What will you be doing?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement the overall licensing strategy for a portfolio of Paramount brands in the French market across the following categories:

    • Toys and games

    • Sports equipment

    • Consumer electronics

    • Arts and crafts

  • Develop, implement, and monitor action plans across multiple levers (including product strategy, innovation, trends, and distribution channels) to support revenue growth and achieve business targets

  • Manage, deploy, and optimize relationships with strategic accounts and international partners operating in France

  • Develop and expand both existing and future partnerships with French companies, including leading negotiations and managing contractual agreements

  • Identify, prospect, and engage key market players to unlock new business opportunities

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, collaborating closely with finance, legal, approvals, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution

 

What are we looking for?

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to lead multiple projects in parallel, from strategic planning through execution and post‑activity analysis

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience building and maintaining long-term, collaborative relationships with retailers, buyers, licensees, and distributors

  • Background in a commercial role within the entertainment, licensed products or consumer products sectors. Knowledge of the toy industry is a plus.

  • Commercially focused, with strong analytical skills and financial performance

  • Clear and effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to operate successfully in a matrixed and international environment

  • Proactive and solution-oriented, able to combine strategic thinking with strong operational delivery

  • Fluency in both French and English

  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives to deliver consistent results
