Account Executive - Ad Sales

We now have a rare entry-level opportunity in to our highly successful Ad Sales team in SYDNEY. This Account Executive position is a permanent full-time role at our office in Pyrmont. 
 
Enough about us! What you’ll do as an Account Executive: 
 
This role is responsible for supporting the Sales team working on a dedicated portfolio of accounts, ensuring that the administrative and customer service functions are delivered with the utmost care and accuracy. 
  
Functions will also include: 

• Providing administrative support to nominated Account Managers in an effective, detailed and timely manner.
• Delivering a high level of client satisfaction through providing prompt, customer focused and professional responses to enquiries and requests.
• Proactively providing support and embracing joint responsibility with Account Managers for client activity and internal reporting activity, such as post campaign reports, preparing client proposals, booking procedures, revenue reports, etc.
• Accurate management of client database
• Various projects when delegated
• Being a key point of contact in the absence of the Account Manager to ensure the needs of our clients and agencies are met in a customer focused manner. 

What are we looking for in an Account Executive? What’s important?  
 
•    Strong skills across the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
•    Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Proactive and able to use initiative to solve problems and navigate challenges with a positive attitude
•    Great attention to detail
•    Proven experience in a customer service focused role

Extra points for the following, but not essential:  
 
•    Previous media industry experience would be great
•    Exposure to working with a client database 

This is a great opportunity for someone with tertiary qualifications in Media & Advertising to kick off their career with an industry-leading Ad Sales team, with great training, support, and ongoing career development opportunities.
