We now have a LEAVE COVER contract role available now for an experienced Ad Sales Account Manager in our Sydney team.

 

The Account Manager Ad Sales is responsible for driving advertising revenue through strategic account management of a top-tier client portfolio. You will serve as a key liaison between clients, agencies and internal teams to deliver high-impact advertising solutions under the guidance of a Group Sales Manager.

 

Functions of the role includes:

  • Leading a dynamic portfolio of Agency/Direct clients with accountability for achieving revenue, increasing market share and yield targets across the wider Paramount playground (TV, BVOD, SVOD).
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored solutions.
  • Proactively engage with media agencies via regular in person meetings and presentations to pitch creative opportunities and integrated cross-platform solutions.
  • Mentoring and guiding Account Executives, fostering a positive team culture by providing training and support to enhance the skills and performance of the overall team.
  • Taking ownership of individual and group revenue targets, share goals and performance KPIs, ensuring consistent delivery against monthly, quarterly and annual budgets across TV, BVOD and SVOD.
  • Educating yourself on the evolving media landscape by staying informed on industry trends, competitors and market conditions to identify any potential risks or opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborating with all internal stakeholders within the business ie: Digital, Regional, Commercial Data & Innovation, Paramount Brand Studio, Sport, Revenue etc to provide seamless sales strategies for your clients and content led partnership opportunities.
  • Driving new business growth by proactively prospecting and qualifying new clients
  • Champion internal process improvements, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance productivity in campaign delivery and client service.
  • Ensure compliance with Paramount’s Global Business Conduct Statement (BCS), all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

 

What are we looking for in an Ad Sales Account Manager? 

•    Bachelor’s degree in media, Communications, Business, Marketing or related field highly regarded but not essential. 

•    Minimum of 2-3 years experiences in sales, with a strong record of achieving targets - experience in Media Sales, Account Management or Agency role preferred. 

•    A customer-focused, sales orientated approach to meeting client expectations. 
•    Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications 
•    Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
•    Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
•    Proficient at working towards sales targets, KPIs and proven track record of delivering and exceeding revenue goals. 
•    Detail oriented, organised, flexible, timely and accurate 
•    Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills 
•    Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced evolving environment 
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to adapt and meet deadlines 
•    A passion for content, streaming, advertising innovation and audience behaviour
