This is a parental leave (9 months) full time role based in SYDNEY.

Enough about us! What you’ll do as a Creative Strategist:


As the Creative Strategist working within our newly restructured Paramount Brand Studios division you will be responsible for driving bold and innovative solutions that build connections between audience, brands and the Paramount playground. This role is key in the development of our creative approach, applying a fresh perspective to solve client business challenges and articulate our solutions in pitch presentations.


You are passionate about ideas, with an understanding of the creative and strategic process that is channel agnostic and able to apply to a range of briefs.


Functions will also include:  

  • Immersing yourself in culture, media and people trends that uncover unique opportunities for our clients, focusing on the role brands play in these spaces.

  • Facilitating internal brainstorms - imbue data driven decision making into our ideas process.

  • Translating insights into ideas and compelling creative concepts/platforms in line with strategy. Developing thought-starter ideas, territories, propositions

  • Working in collaboration with a team of strategists to inform, define and inspire campaign creative and direction, with ability to showcase how a campaign platform comes to life across multiple touchpoints

  • Supporting in pitching new creative routes and campaign ideas, creating a robust story to articulate and sell in why an idea works.

  • Working with key stakeholders across the Paramount Brand Studio team and wider business to ensure ideas are on brand and commercially viable

  • Delivering exceptional written and presentation work



What are we looking for in a Creative Strategist? What’s important?  


  • You are innately curious with 5 years of experience in a similar role

  • You have an openness to learn and seek new ways took look at the same problems

  • Keen attention to detail, with strong organisations skills

  • Ability to distil complex challenges into simple ideas, and experienced in connecting ideas cross media, upholding the creative thread

  • Experienced in the development and communication of an idea and able to build a compelling creative story

  • Confident presenter, rigorously championing the way in which we pitch ideas
