As a Group Sales Manager you will have amazing opportunities to collaborate with our local and global iconic, innovative and successful brands. You will lead a high performing sales team, reporting into the Sydney Sales Director. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for providing a clear vision of how to bring the best out of your people through coaching, mentoring and working collaboratively to provide best in market advertising solutions for our clients.
The role is also responsible for:
▪ Managing a diverse client portfolio and identifying new client opportunities
▪ Addressing customers’ strategic business needs with solutions
▪ Participating in sales negotiations and overseeing contracted revenue with the team.
▪ Achieving budget expectations and revenue targets
▪ Establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships, both internally and externally
▪ Prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities to develop new revenue channels
▪ Managing a team of Sales Executives and Assistants to deliver results & drive proactivity
▪ Coaching & developing the sales team and ensuring that they follow the company values and behaviours.
What are we looking for in a Group Sales Manager?
▪ A dynamic, results-oriented individual experienced in identifying, building and closing the sale
▪ Team Focused – you enjoy one of our team having a win as much as getting a win yourself – this is vital.
▪ A sophisticated knowledge of advertising and a broad understanding of media and marketing solutions.
▪ Demonstrated success in media sales, established relationships with media agencies and clients
▪ Proven track record of reaching and exceeding targets within a competitive environment
▪ The ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines
▪ Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers
▪ Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop a team
