The service is also the streaming home to unmatched sports programming, including every CBS Sports event, from golf to football to basketball and more, plus exclusive streaming rights for major sports properties, including some of the world’s biggest and most popular soccer leagues.

THIS IS A 3 MONTH CASUAL PART-TIME CONTRACT BASED IN SYDNEY - 8-16 hours per week evenings/weekends

 

Enough about us! We're looking for some Social Media Producers and Moderators to work across our football coverage and provide engaging content for our dedicated football community. 

 

Functions will include:

 

Producer:

  • Live cutting, editing and posting of pivotal moments throughout live games
  • Design work - creating and updating fixture, half time and full time graphics
  • Post match reporting for tier 2 and 3 games
  • Analysing reach, impressions, engagements and overall performance of live sport posts
  • Copywriting, scheduling and publishing live sport social posts

 

Moderator:

  • Moderating inappropriate and problematic comments, blocking/hiding illegal streams, spam and users who violate community guidelines 
  • Responding to customer queries and escalating as needed to squad leader
  • Track trending topics and sentiment throughout live sport, updating live match reports with comments, trends and sentiment

 

What are we looking for in our Social team? What's important?

 

Social Media Producers:

  • 2+ years experience producing social content

  • Strong understanding of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube) and nuances of the end-user experience on each

  • Well developed, practical experience with Adobe Creative Suite (additional bonus: Grabyo)

  • Multimedia design skills including graphic design, video production and editing

  • Experience producing, cutting and editing live content

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - meticulous with spelling and grammar

  • An eye for creative content both written and visual

  • The ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye on the finer details, along with the flexibility to adapt to changes in schedules and delivery

  • Ability to build great working relationships and take direction

  • A passion for football in particular strong knowledge of A-League and FA Cup

 

Social Media Moderators: 

  • 2+ years experience in community management/customer support roles

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you should speak the language of the internet and be passionate about delivering the right messages at the right times to customers in brand-appropriate and engaging ways

  • Works well under pressure to deliver results whilst maintaining the values of the brand

  • Good judgment - identify and prioritize issues, know when to escalate 

  • Ability to build connection and relationships with customers with the goal to create a positive customer experience 

  • A passion for football in particular strong knowledge of A-League and FA Cup

  • Bonus: Experience moderating in Falcon
