We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Coordinator to join our HR team in Sydney (Pyrmont) in a permanent full-time on-site role. 

  

Enough about us! What you’ll do as a Senior HR Operations Coordinator:  

  

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant, and efficient HR operational services across the employee lifecycle within the APAC region. Working as part of a small team within the larger HR organisation, you’ll play a vital part in supporting all employees across the business with queries or problems, issuing employment documentation, supporting on projects, and contributing to a great team culture. 

   

Functions will also include:    

  • Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle transactions 
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing accurate, professional and timely advice to employees and managers.  
  • Ensure employment contracts and variation letters align with relevant legislation and organisational policy.  
  • Act as escalation point for complex or sensitive HR operational matters 
  • Liaise with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance and other stakeholders to facilitate effective resolution of complex queries.  
  • Escalate high-risk, sensitive or policy-related matters appropriately.  
  • Maintain accurate records of queries and resolutions to support reporting, audit and continuous improvement initiative 
  • Support system enhancements, testing (UAT), and process documentation updates.  
  • Ensure HR processes comply with Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and internal policies.  
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure correct remuneration processing and interpretation. 
  • Identify inefficiencies in HR workflows and implement process improvements.  
  • Lead or contribute to HR Operations projects 

 

This is what we’re looking for:   

  

Education/Qualifications  

  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or related discipline  

  

Experience/Skills/Knowledge  

  • 4+ years’ experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services.  
  • Strong HRIS experience (Oracle, ADP -Workforce Manager, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow).  
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation.  
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capability.  
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.  
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.  
  • Previous experience supporting HR system implementations, including UAT testing, data cleansing, data migration validation, and post-go-live stabilisation.  

  

Preferred but not essential  

  • Experience in large, matrixed organisations.  
  • Understanding of payroll processes and remuneration structures
