This is a parental leave cover role ideally based in Sydney (Mel/Bne may be considered for the right candidate)

 

This position is responsible for maximising market share, revenue and profit across the home video (physical) and digital categories of Paramount's content by implementing strategic plans for TV, Film & Catalogue priorities as set out by the business.

 

What you'll do as Marketing Manager:

 

  • Film & TV New Release Marketing -  build and execute Marketing Plans for New Release Film & TV titles 

  • Catalogue Marketing Management - build & execute marketing plans for annual catalogue film & TV priorities 

  • Advertising Media and PR Management - management of ongoing advertising media and PR planning including briefing media agencies

  • Platform Marketing & Engagement - develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all digital customers, internal processes & platform priorities in order to develop strategic plans to drive new release & catalogue performance. 

  • Consumer & Marketing Insights - maintain a thorough understanding of AU/NZ retail & media landscape and local consumer “content consumption” behaviour 

  • Stakeholder Management - work closely with sales distribution team to maximise results across portfolio including tailored marketing programs for key accounts across both the Physical and Digital landscape.

 

What are we looking for in a Sr Marketing Manager? What's important?

 

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Marketing Manager role, ideally within a multi-national company, OR

  • Proven experience in a senior Product Manager role looking for a step up to Marketing

  • Media/entertainment industry experience is preferred, but not essential

  • Solid understanding of consumer marketing and insights

  • Genuine interest in film and television content

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to listen and learn quickly

  • A great team player
