We are looking for a Finance Manager to join and be an important team member of the Paramount Digital Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The manager will coordinate with many different business partners within Central Departments (Ad Sales and G&A departments) to gain a deep understanding of the organization. Primary responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy and integrity of forecasts and budgets, tracking performance, managing monthly operating expenses, and using analysis to assist in driving informed decision making. Oversee, support, and develop their team to help them reach their professional goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Be a trusted business partner within the DTC G&A Departments. Coordinate with different leads to analyze and mitigate risk, find efficiencies, and accurately forecast each department’s PnL. In total there are 10+ Departments including, but not limited to Legal, HR, Accounting and Facilities.
  • Partner with the Corporate Ad Sales Finance Team to help oversee and consolidate the revenue forecasts and budgets on the DTC and Digital businesses
  • Host monthly business partner meeting with each lead to go over results of the month, providing commentary on variances, and suggestions for updates to future forecasts
  • Own and manage the process of allocating central department operating expenses to Brand PnLs. This includes confirming the accuracy of automated and manual calculations. Understand and adjust allocation methodologies based on evolving business models and assumptions.
  • Work with HR teams to properly incorporate in the financials, all changes to personnel for central teams, which includes team reorganizations, backfilling, and contractor conversions
  • Assist in developing and automating multi-layer reporting used for long range planning and forecasting
  • Develop and guide team members toward company goals and personal career achievements

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 6 + years or more of experience in FP&A, finance, or equivalent quantitative roles
  • Experience with Salesforce, Cognos, TM1 and Oracle Financials

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $85,000.00 - 115,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
