Overview:

The Partnership Operations Manager within the Distribution & Operations team will help lead the daily operations and needs across AVOD distribution partnerships including but not limited to the Paramount+, CBS Primetime & Late Night Shows’ YouTube channels. We are seeking an experienced partnership manager who is passionate about both television entertainment and technology to join the team. This person should be experienced with YouTube, an analytical problem solver and knowledgeable about growing and engaging with our audiences on the partner platforms. This role is also responsible for applying the same optimization efforts to drive sign-ups from YouTube ad-supported content to Paramount+ on the new YouTube Primetime Channels service. The Partnership Operations Manager will also regularly work on competitive industry research and other varying projects striven to help drive growth and revenue.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day audience development operations and relationships with internal and external partners to cultivate our ongoing AVOD and distributor relationships
  • Liaise with partners on strategy and standard processes
  • Daily channel management and optimization in support of growing channel subscribers as well as driving from AVOD content to support the conversion funnel for the growth of the Primetime Channels SVOD product
  • Support end-to-end launches around show channels and implement key marketing activations in support of Paramount+
  • Maintain metric reporting and revenue analyses for both internal team members and partners
  • Partner with Business Development, Business Intelligence, Monetization, Editorial, Social and Content Strategy teams to help grow streams and direct sales/sponsorship revenue tied to AVOD partnerships
  • Field any internal or partner ad hoc requests, analysis and reporting
  • Become a guide in Paramount programming, entertainment and pop culture and how that applies to our AVOD platforms for editorial recommendations and audience growth
  • Partner with internal content and social teams on execution of in-platform messaging
  • Daily optimization of YouTube channels and competitive analysis
  • AVOD regular partner financial reporting and tracking and partnership relationship management
  • Regular reporting on key marketing activation performance and insights
  • Ad hoc performance metric reporting and recommendations
  • Implement in-platform user messaging and conversion linking
  • Work closely with content strategy, editorial, and video operations to help complete activations supporting various show launches
  • Ad hoc partner feed and/or video issue or takedown troubleshooting

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in business administration, economics or media communications
  • 3+ years of experience in a Partnership Management, Distribution, Channel Management or Operations role within a media company
  • Understanding of digital linear streaming across AVOD, EST, SVOD or VOD space
  • Experience with and passion for YouTube as a platform and YouTube Studio channel management experience
  • Photoshop experience particularly with deep understanding of thumbnail impacts on CTRs
  • Strong proficiency in MS office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong organization and presentation skills, effectively presenting insights and plans to cross-functional team
  • Capturing information from meetings with various partners and producing useful reports
  • Stellar communication skills in these aspects: interpersonal, verbal, and written
  • Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team, act proactively and drive resolution
  • Ideal candidate will be self-directed with an ambitious spirit who will be able to quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask is a necessity.
  • Experience in streaming and video operations is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with live streaming and various third party tools

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

 

Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 110,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
