They ensure that every asset moves through post-production correctly and on time. They serve as a steady, service-oriented partner to creative and marketing teams, bringing endurance and sound judgment to high-pressure situations. This role is the main link between post-production and several teams. These teams include operations, media planning, and the senior creative executive team. They also include writer/producer/editors, motion graphics designers, technical teams, talent, and agents. Success requires solution-oriented communication, meticulous project tracking within workflow systems (e.g., Jira), disciplined follow-through on service requests, and daily alignment with cross-functional planners and managers to keep priorities synchronized and delivery on schedule.

  • Manages post-production operations every day, even under tight deadlines. Allocates resources to editors, mixers, coordinators, and project managers. Maintains project progress and ensures they are delivered on time. Anticipates problems and identifies risks early. Negotiates timelines when necessary. Offers service-oriented guidance in high-pressure situations. Helps keep teams focused and on schedule.
  • Owns workflow accuracy and production readiness, ensuring all required information, assets, approvals, and technical specifications are entered into workflow management systems (e.g., Jira) and secured before post-production begins, minimizing rework and last-minute disruptions.
  • Partners closely with Campaign Managers to forecast workload, anticipate versioning needs, and prepare derivative deliverables based on media orders and platform requirements, proactively planning capacity to meet peak demand periods.
  • Improves post-production workflows. Works with technology, media, and operations managers to create better processes. Finds ways to automate tasks and explores AI-supported solutions.
  • Manages and fulfills Service Desk requests. This includes prioritizing new requests for social, streaming, and other deliverables. Ensures these requests align with current priorities. Must not disrupt important timelines.
  • Performs additional duties in support of PTVM Marketing as directed by the Senior Director, Post-Production.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; major in Television, Film Production, Media, Communications, or related field strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in post-production. This includes knowledge of linear and nonlinear editing workflows, audio pre-lay and mixing, and animated graphics pipelines. It is also important to be aware of media codecs and formats. Additionally, familiarity with file-based and cloud-based post-production environments is required.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and balancing multiple concurrent projects in a deadline-driven marketing or broadcast setting.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment, exercising sound judgment when timelines, resources, or stakeholder needs conflict.
  • Solid stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to diplomatically converse timelines, articulate tradeoffs, and align teams around clear priorities.
  • Calm, service-oriented leader who maintains composure under tension and approaches challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an anticipatory approach to anticipating workflow risks and preventing downstream issues.
