We are seeking QC Specialist in Warsaw - maybe it's you?
 

You will be responsible for: 
QC (Quality Control) Process:
•    Read and manipulate JSON, XML and mRSS files - Ensure that all artwork meets' Pluto's specifications (Compliance, guidelines, etc.)
•    Accurately upload, ingest, and QC ProRes, H.264 (HQ), MPEG, M3U8 and other various media codecs
•    View media and identify any video and audio defects (digital hits, macro blocking, interlacing, distortion, etc...),
•    Capture compelling images for a title for a consumer facing experience that meets Pluto TV's standard
•    Review descriptive metadata to ensure it meets Pluto TV’s specifications
•    Editing: Ad Break placement, add markups/warning cards (for previews, recaps, opening/end credits)
•    Grasp knowledge of our closed-caption compliance standards and apply that knowledge during the QC process for all content
•    Content Cloning (copy of ingested source)
•    Prioritize content based on needs and urgencies.
•    Conduct the complete handoff of titles from internal CMS and MAM systems”.

Documentation and Communication:
•    Internally: Content Operations Coordinators, to Pluto TV EU Programming Departments (e.g. update Media Orders when content is blocked, or ready), Pluto TV EU Acquisition Teams, QC’s work on JIRA tickets sent by the coordinators, or tickets that are submitted by other Departments (Support board).
•    Externally to Pluto TV Vendors, e.g. via JIRA Vendor Boards (QC rejections, redeliveries, production blockers), join and support during Partner onboarding Calls”.

Support:
•    Supporting Coordinators (e.g. in Onboarding Calls, technical Questions) & Manager when needed,
•    Supporting Programming & other departments with technical issues
•    Training, writing documentation, and presenting workflows”.

We are looking for people who have: 
•    1 to 3 years of experience in Media industry, audio, video and entertainment products, preferably in a video delivery environment and/or in QC processes"
•    Ability to read and understand XML & JSON sheets, understand, and apply all Pluto TV specs.
•    Very detail-focused work capacity
•    Multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to meet goals on a very complex environment.
•    Experience with Excel and Google Sheets and in navigating MAM-/CMS Systems,
•    Experience in working with Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira),
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English + another Language (native - preferred, but not required)
