We are now looking for Specialist, A/V Edit & Conform team - is that you?
You will be responsible for:
- Perform spot and linear quality control (QC) on media using high-resolution files and/or proxies available through cloud-based tools. Identify and document issues such as audio track misalignment, mixing problems (2.0, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos stems), M&E issues, video dropouts, artifacts, textless elements issues, metadata errors, and other potential defects.
- Implement editorial tasks in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid ProTools Studio, and Ooona Tools. Responsibilities include importing media, splicing, aligning, applying censorship, marking edits, reformatting timed text, exporting media and other.
- Validate the technical attributes and editorial cohesion of video, audio, and timed text files.
- Ingest exported media into file repositories and run file metadata.
- Transcode and convert media files as needed to meet technical specifications.
- Monitor file processing and transfers in media asset management systems and proprietary platforms.
- Coordinate media file workflows, track task progress, and address issues using internal trackers and Jira. Monitor team progress on assigned projects.
- Update project and order statuses in the systems, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Communicate missing media or quality issues to Media Supply Chain supervisors, managers, and partners.
- Provide feedback on technical problems and perform advanced troubleshooting when required.
- Take operational ownership and actively contribute to key business projects.
- Stay informed and participate in communication, including leading critical communication threads when necessary. Proactively flag urgent requests and potential issues to the management.
- Stay up to date with Media Operations workflows and SOPs. Embrace change and support colleagues in adapting to evolving processes.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.

We are looking for people who have:
- Hands-on experience with audio, video, and timed-text processing for streaming platforms.
- Hands-on experience in audio and/or video processing is a plus
- Proficient with NLE/DAW applications and other industry software. Familiar with media file transcoding, standards conversions, and supply chain operations, with knowledge of technical requirements for linear broadcast and streaming services.
- Understanding of media production, localization, and supply chain operations.
- Comfortable operating in both Windows and MacOS environments. Proficient in managing Outlook inboxes and using Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in an international and multicultural environment. Excellent written and spoken English.
- Mandatory ability to work remotely, with access to fast broadband internet.
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift system.
- Operational knowledge of Jira, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
- Self-directed and capable of identifying operational struggles with minimal supervision.
- Calm and effective under pressure, able to meet deadlines and handle stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. trends.
