As the streaming technology landscape continues to evolve, our software engineering teams play a crucial role in ensuring that Paramount is at the forefront of innovation. Right now, we're looking for a Staff Software Engineer, who will be an integral part of the Warsaw Center of Excellence. If you are a senior-plus-level technical professional, who wish to play a meaningful role in designing, developing, optimizing distributed systems and work with business closely - make the first step and apply. What do we do:

Products we develop are exposed to millions of users globally. Current projects are (e.g.) related to:

 

  • Content management and delivery platforms,
  • Users management & personalization platforms,
  • Event collection & processing platforms,
  • Solutions for emerging platforms.

 

We keep our technologies up-to-date, and since we own the projects, we also have a major impact on the tool set:

 

  • Java & Kotlin,
  • Spring Boot,
  • Cloud-based environment with AWS/GCP,
  • Docker/Kubernetes/ECS,
  • CI/CD (Jenkins),
  • New Relic, Datadog,
  • distributed architectures.

 

Tools:

 

  • MacBook Pro + additional monitors,
  • IDE: IntelliJ Idea,
  • Jira, Confluence,
  • GitHub,
  • Slack, Zoom.

  • Our teams own “how” decisions and are responsible for software they produce - we are autonomous regarding the architectural choices, technologies, and approach to providing high quality solutions,
  • Our Engineers are involved in every stage of SDLC,
  • Our divisions are built from various engineers, i.e. Backend, Mobile, DevOps, Test Automation and System Engineers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches,
  • Our products are exposed to millions of users globally,
  • We focus on automation and quality – and we do that by automating whatever is possible!
  • Every project is run based on Agile principles using Scrum / Kanban.
