Overview and Responsibilities


The Manager, FP&A will analyze data and build financial models to support executive decision-making, financial planning, and strategic business initiatives. This person will be a key resource in leading Pluto TV’s financial planning process and overseeing financial operations for our team.
The ideal candidate is proactive, driven and resourceful, with exemplary quantitative, communication, and project management skills. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and grow within a high energy, high growth organization.


Responsibilities Include:
•    Assist in the management and preparation of the P&L for financial closes, monthly forecasting, annual budget and long-range planning
•    Prepare trend and financial analyses, including standard monthly reports and perform ad hoc analyses for leadership teams
•    Apply business analytics and data insights to support partners across all business functions to make decisions
•    Improve existing financial operations processes and make recommendations for efficiencies
•    Develop and maintain relationships with key partners i.e. Marketing, Operations, and Corporate FP&A. Lead budget and long-range planning processes for these teams
•    Prepare presentations for senior leadership on business reviews, forecast submissions, and financial results
 

Basic Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent; Advanced degree or MBA preferred
•    6+ years overall work experience in a quantitative role with at least 3 years of FP&A and/or accounting experience
 

Additional Qualifications
•    Exceptional analytical skills with advanced business model development and financial forecasting abilities
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills - be able to handle and synthesize large datasets to deliver critical insights in an easily consumable format for management and external partners
•    Proficiency in financial systems (ERP/EMP) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx) with a willingness and quick ability to learn new software. Basic querying and SQL proficiency preferred
•    Global finance experience with a strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS (CPA/CMA a plus)
•    Advanced Microsoft Office / Google suite skills, particularly Sheets/Excel and Slides/Powerpoint

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

 

Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 135,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
