Job Title: Sr Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview & ResponsibilitiesData plays a central role at Paramount Streaming, and as part of the Data & Insights Group (DIG), our Measurement Operations (MOPS) team plays a crucial part in the success of our streaming products. It drives business, product, and operational decisions by providing rich data, strategic insights and analytical products. We are looking for a Sr Quality Assurance Engineer for Paramount Streaming who is passionate about data, and entertainment, and who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
● Capture test requirements, execute test plans, and perform manual testing on a variety of new and existing applications on web, mobile, and OTT platforms to ensure that analytics implementations are correct and will yield complete and accurate data.
● Support the Measurement Operations team in the management of QA, operational, and
administrative needs of their assigned projects.
● Perform regression testing and audits/data integrity checks on a regular basis to have
better control over the tags deployed across the sites.
● Conduct QA cycles and data audits to identify tracking gaps/inconsistencies.
● Perform QA and sign off on new or updated implementations. Prioritize tickets and call
out blockers.
● Represent the Measurement Operations team in meetings as a domain specialist on
data quality assurance.
● Participate with product and engineering in sprint planning and bug triage efforts.
● Develop and maintain a robust library of test cases for both new and existing features of
digital platforms.
● Serve as a subject-matter expert and delegator for junior QA analytics engineers.
● Participate in mentoring junior team members, onboarding new resources, and other
knowledge-sharing sessions.
● Promote adoption of QA tools and processes, including training and documentation of
their use.
● Identify and execute on opportunities to improve the QA process.
● Partner with the automation lead to develop and deploy QA automation frameworks for
web properties, mobile apps, and OTT platforms.
● Train vendors on how to validate measurement. Provide clarity into issues discovered
and their current status and place in the queue.
● Further develop the Measurement Operations QA program to scale our QA efforts as we
continue to expand our platform count.
Basic Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree (STEM field preferred but not required) or equivalent experience
● 3+years of experience in manual testing
● A minimum of 3-4 years of work experience in Data or functional QA of digital products.
● Experience with QA in mobile applications and/or OTT platforms.
● Hands-on experience using automation tools (e.g. Observepoint, BrowserStack, etc.) and Automation Frameworks (e.g. Selenium Webdriver, BrowserMob, Appium,etc).
● Experience with Test Management tools such as Testrail, Zyphyr etc
Preferred Qualifications:
● Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
● Knowledge of SDLC, STLC and different types of testing methodologies.
● Experience in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and maintaining the same.
● Ability to define standard methodologies for testing tools.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to effectively communicate
requirements, defect triaging to various stakeholders, and development teams

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 - 125,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
